Keep On Keeping On – 24/7!
Philippians 2:17-18, Devotion #12

But even if my life is to be poured out like a drink offering to complete the sacrifice of your faithful service (that is if I am to die for you), I will rejoice, and I want to share my joy with all of you. And you should be happy about this and rejoice with me.
Philippians 2:17-18

Father, I am so grateful that the work which You have started in the lives of Your people You do continue toward completion. And that is the reality for all who are "called according to your plan." Your work continues. Your desire is for us to also continue the work which You have called us to. Serving and sacrificing for You is a 24/7 call and the truth of it - it is a wonderful fulfilling call.

I think of the guys who lead the groups of men here at Orchard Hill. They have answered the call and are doing what they need to in order to "complete the sacrifice" which You started in the lives of other men and women. It is truly incredible to me that You allow us to be involved in such meaningful eternally significant work. Thank You Father. Yes, for sure it is messy at times, it takes effort, it involves going the extra mile. But what a joy when we are given the privileged to see a life changed before our very eyes by Your Holy Spirit.

Father, lead us all into situations where we can begin and "complete the sacrifice" which pleases You. Encourage us during the times which we grow weary or frustrated. Grant us the rest we need when we are feeling burdened. May we, in all situations and circumstances, "complete" what You have started. Help us to "keep on keeping on." Come Holy Spirit.

Thank You, Father, in Jesus name. Amen.

Love, Dad/Danny
